Liam Rodgers

I'm a rising junior in Charleston, South Carolina. I'm interested in investment banking, hedge fund trading, and wealth management, and I'm using high school to get real exposure to that world instead of waiting until college to start.

Right now that means shadowing a Certified Financial Planner, building mock financial plans, and trading real positions so I understand markets from the inside rather than from a textbook. I also reach out to professionals across different parts of the financial world and learn directly from those conversations. Setting up those conversations myself is how I get exposure to areas of finance I would not see otherwise.

My longer goal is a strong business school application and a career in finance. This site is part of how I get there. I learn something, I write it down, and I keep a record I can look back on later to see how my thinking changed.
